Smooths wrinkles and reduces imperfections

The Fraxis CO2 laser, which we use at our clinic, smooths out acne and chickenpox scars, softens wrinkles, rejuvenates and tightens the skin by contracting collagen fibers, and removes signs of aging and age spots. It also effectively treats skin tags and moles. It acts preventively against the first signs of sagging and aging skin.

After the treatment, the laser beams will leave your skin looking rejuvenated, firm, and radiant.

Restores collagen production

Laser skin treatment takes approximately 15–30 minutes, depending on the size of the treated area. During the procedure, the laser beam vaporizes specific areas of the skin. The individual points are spaced at precise intervals and reach a specific depth determined by the device settings. The heat released by the laser beams warms the skin, stimulating collagen production, which improves skin elasticity and smooths out scars and wrinkles.

Due to the heat emitted by the laser beam, you may feel a slight burning or stinging sensation on your skin. For your comfort, we apply an anesthetic cream before the treatment.

First results within 2 weeks

The skin's surface is disrupted during the treatment. Over the next 2 days, a thin gray scab will form on the treated skin, which will peel off within 1 week. After it peels off, the skin is usually pink with slight flaking, and the initial results of the treatment are already visible, improving over the next 5 months. This leads to gradual firming and smoothing of the skin’s surface.

Recovery and follow-up care

After your treatment, we will provide you with the skincare products you need for the coming week, until your follow-up appointment with the doctor. We strongly recommend that you start taking collagen and hyaluronic acid at the same time to ensure you have sufficient building blocks for your skin and to maximize the treatment’s effectiveness.

For the next 6–8 weeks after treatment, avoid sun exposure and protect your skin with a sunscreen that has a high SPF—preferably SPF 50+. Also, avoid tanning beds.
