Kyselina hyaluronová je látka tělu vlastní, a tak její aplikace není nijak nebezpečná. Procedura však není vhodná v případě akutního kožního onemocnění, např. opar, ekzém. Aplikaci výplní kyselinou hyaluronovou nelze podstoupit ani v těhotenství a při kojení.

Délka trvání účinku je individuální, obvykle účinky výplně odezní po 1 roce. Zákrok lze opakovat nejdříve 2 měsíce od poslední aplikace.

Pomoc je jednoduchá a rychlá - stačí výplň rozpustit a cévu uvolnit, tak dojde k úplnému zhojení. Je však nutné při jakémkoli problému v rámci dnů po aplikaci kontaktovat ošetřujícího lékaře, aby se problém rozpoznal a bezodkladně řešil.
